Coca-Cola Cup AITA Talent Series (All India Ranking) And Bengal Ranking Sub Junior Tennis Championship – 2016

 

The Coca-Cola Cup AITA Talent Series and Bengal ranking Sub Junior Tennis Tournament was held at Ordnance Club from 29th October -4th November, 2016. Approximately 200 players(Boys & Girls) from West Bengal and Eastern India competed in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 catergories.

The Coca-Cola Cup AITA Talent Series and Bengal Ranking Sub Junior Tennis Tournament was held at Ordnance Club from 7th -13th November, 2015. Approximately 300 players (Boys & Girls) from West Bengal and Eastern India fought fiercely in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 catergories. Coca-Cola also awarded two tickets of IPTL 2015, New Delhi to the the Winners of all catergories . The Chief Guest Mr. Naresh Kumar (Former Davis Cup Captain) distributed the prizes to the Winners of the different catergories.

The ITC AITA Talent Series and Bengal Ranking Sub Junior Tennis Tournament was held at Ordnance Club from 1st -7th November, 2014. The Tournament was co-sponsored by Eveready Industries Ltd. Approximately 200 players (Boys & Girls) from West Bengal and Eastern India competed in Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 catergories.

Sunfeast Open AITA Super Series & Talent Series Junior Tennis Championship – 2013

 

The Sunfeast Open AITA Talent Series junior Tennis Tournament was held at Ordnance Club from 24th -30th October, 2013. The Tournament was co-sponsored by Eveready Industries Ltd. Approximately 150 players(Boys & Girls) from West Bengal and Eastern India competed fiercely in the Under 14 catergory.

The Sunfeast Open AITA Talent Series Junior Tennis Tournament was held at Ordnance Club from 29th October - 2nd November 2012. The Tournament was co-sponsored by Eveready Industries Ltd. It approximately 200 players (Boys & Girls) from West Bengal and Eastern India fought for top honours in the Under 12 and Under 14 catergories.

The Sunfeast Open AITA Super Series Junior Tennis Championship was held at Ordnance Club in November 2011. The Tournament was co-sponsored by Eveready Industries Ltd.The tournament spanned over a fortnight. Approximately  400 players (Boys & Girls)  from all over India competed fiercely in the Under 14 and Under 16 catergories.

The fourth edition of the Tea Garden Tennis Camp was held over two weeks at Bishnauth and Tingri Club. The camp was rounded off with a competition.

After two consecutive successful years William Magor Group made the forthnightly Tea Garden Tennis Camp an annual event. There were more than 50 enthusiastic participants at Bishnauth and Tingri Club. On the final day gifts and certificates of participation were distributed.

The first camp had received overwhelming enthusiasm and participation so Williamson Magor re-appointed us for a two week camp in January 2014.The success of the first year brought in more participants at the Bishnauth and Tingri Club. On the final day a small competition was organised for the participants.

The first edition of the coaching camp was held in January 2013 for the Williamson Magor Group Tea Garden Managers and their families.The Managers and their families thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks of fun-filled training at Bishnauth and Margherita Club.

Anand Amritraj Tennis Clinic 2016 

 
A 2 day clinic organised in 2016 exclusively for EPTT trainees Anand Amritraj is currently the Non - Playing Captain of the India Davis Cup Team. During his active playing years he teamed up with his brother Vijay Amritraj in many Davis Cup matches and Grand Slams. His stupendous performance in 1974 & 1987 helped India reach the Davis Cup finals. In 1976 he also reached the Wimbledon Doubles semi finals with his brother Vijay.

Bob Brett Tennis Clinic 2013 

   

Bob Brett, the renowned Australian coach with an academy at San Mareno, Italy conducted the clinic. He trained under Harry Hopman, the godfather of all tennis coaches. He is very actively involved in the international tennis circuit and is a Consultant Coach with Tennis Canada. He was also appointed as the Player Development Director by the Lawn Tennis Association, Wimbledon. Brett had spent 24 years on the ATP circuit coaching tennis players such as Boris Becker, Goran Ivanišević, Andrei Medvedev, Mario Ančić and Marin ÄŒilić. Chris Evert even remarked that she played the best tennis during her collaboration with Bob Brett. Brett had also coached Sania Mirza. Throughout his career he had always taken pride in being a teacher, and had always been eager to share his passion for tennis with players who are willing to challenge themselves and test their limits.
The Enrico Piperno Tennis Trust had invited top juniors from the city including Nitin Sinha, Vikas Singh, Sanil Jagtiani, Parikshit Somani, and several other top ranked players from Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore to be a part of this tennis clinic, and benefit from Bob Brett’s expertise, experience and vision.The clinic was held from 20th - 24th November at The Calcutta South Club/Ordnance Club.
